The real reason we drove to Ottawa: skating on the Rideau Canal with a break for Beavertails.

A perfect weekend all around.

    And Canada’s national flag turns 50 this year 🙂 So Happy Birthday twice over!! These beautiful images make us want to have been in that Winter Wonderland for this special occasion – and to join in eating Poutine and Beavertail 🙂
