Experiencing good food is a favourite pastime of mine. I love food, lots of different types of food. You name it: Italian, German, Japanese, Korean, and the list goes on and on and on.
When in new restaurants I love to try some of my favourite menu items as a sort of benchmark for the food at the restaurant. It really simple to do. French Onion Soup, Caesar Salad, Creme brûlée, and the coup d’état: Eggs Benedict are always on my list.
And yes, yesterday I was able to check out a new Eggs Benedict in Maui.
“Seared Ahi Tuna Eggs Benedict” was (get ready to drool) served with seared ahi tuna and wasabi hollandaise on a taro English muffin. Along with that came homestyle potatos with sautéed onion and asparagus.
The seared tuna was exceptional, the wasabi hollondaise had just the perfect amount of heat and the taro English muffin fun with its purple color. I can say that this was one of my favourite Eggs Benedict meals ever.
