How to Sort Legos

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of ways to keep a collection of Legos.

Our Lego collection consists of Uncle Rob’s old Legos and the kids’ new ones accumulated of dozens of birthdays and holidays.  At this point it takes up two laundry baskets as well as a few smaller plastic boxes.

What? Laundry baskets?

Yes! Laundry baskets and you know what? After purchasing various sorting items for Legos over the last 10 years, we recently gave up our quest for the perfect sorting system. It was one of the best decisions we have ever made.

Looking at these two laundry baskets gives me such a feeling of accomplishment and simultaneously a “who give a sh!t” not-a-care-in-the-world what other people think about my organizational skills.

So there you go. The answer to the Lego problem is solved.

You’re welcome.
